It would be nice if you could use A and D to turn left and right while using /e crawl Currently it only moves you in a straight line so to turn you have to cancel to emote which makes you stand up, turn and then emote again which doesn't feel right if you are using it to RP injuries.

It was a great chase and my escape at the end was the cherry on top. I would personally love to have more situations like this and being able to resist cuffs would make that possible.

Why would we be? In the situation you are talking about at the petrol station you were heavily outnumbered and there were a lot of guns pointed at you so we had 0 reason to be scared.
