The point is not how I reacted, the point is still the poor RP way to begin the robbery

You still do not understand the point mate. The point is your poor way of starting the robbery by basically saying "Put your hands up or I shoot". If these initializations are OK then no action will be taken and I myself will initiate robberies by doing this, but the rules states otherwise.
