Can confirm, I once had a switchblade that I couldn't drop. It almost got me killed as I was beign robbed lol. Luckily these people actually RP and understand scuff.

I haven't played in weeks, but yea, this was my issue. I think attempts were made to resolve the issue, and it has improved, but there are still times it happens.

Although this is downvoted to hell, I think police response is often dissproportinate. I've seen police stacked up while people rob shops with knives, meanwhile other calls are getting zero attention.
