2142 is definitely my favorite one in the series. Especially thanks to the titan gamemode. Most of the maps in there are pretty amazing too.

Played the game for about an hour and just put in a refund request. The 30fps and the graphics that look like upscaled 720p just didn't do it for me. Might pick it up on sale once it has had some patches.

Just make sure not to carry anything valuable with you on patrol and you should be good, but yes, it is allowed.
