would recommend full uninstall and re-install of the driver, so it recognises it as a new audio device.

what headset have you got or soundcard ?

make sure "allow Applications to control this device" is unticked

for low ram systems, its worth looking into readyboost. a quick google should guide you in the right direction.

All looks fine tbh, not sure why your not happy with it, If you are planning on a big build though, wait till 1Q of 2017, as AMD are dropping new GPU & CPU and you will probably see intel & Nvidia dropping their prices as well.
