I currently have a 980ti, an expert review came out today after extensive testing - apparently I would see a 2% increase in performance. Apparently the thermal throttling on this card is so bad that it has to reduce its' clock speed in order to recover.  ...Good luck.

Wasn't suggesting it did. But, new cards are usually buggy regardless. The TI version would just be my preference if I was to get a new card, is all.

I won't buy it at first. Typically when a new card comes out it's buggy. Probably wait for the ti version or whatever they brand it as.
