Probably because there was an update and something went wrong with the database and it, for a second didn't realise you where banned. If this happens, and you know you are banned, you shouldn't play! You should let staff know just in case it could happen to other banned players! 

Ask King said, if you have donated £160 straight away then I don't think that you will get the donator tag. But the best person to ask about this is @Wilco
