Yes, it is still active. Don't ask my why though. But it's just as fun as it used to be.  I'm looking for people to play Epoch with. It's way more fun when you play with a group of people and built the best base on the server 😄

First time I did it I had to wait 4 hours :S Not sure if internet speed influences this. I'd suggest to get a cup of tea and watch some television while waiting for it to improve your security level.

The only things I can think of is closing every other application that requires internet, as well as other devices such as TV's. You could also see if you could get a better router if you're using the one you got from your provider. Although this does come at a cost.
