Have you tried to verify game cache? Are you a victim of the memory loss bug? Do you get kicked of servers every now and then for no reason(You were kicked off the Game.)?

After the new update me and @Mr_Smith were on a NPAS patrol when we went past Kavala when we asked the question: Is the Kavla Airport for Civ use or for BA Use? Do to the fact that the BA helipad was removed and we got an Airport in Kavala it just made me thinking.

If you play story mode then it uses the files on your hardrive to run, however if you play online then it takes a massive about of RAM to get internet, like I can't use GTA V online personally.

I have to say that it does not look like its the application seems to be the thing thats slow. What I would advice is just going into the game settings and set lower settings for your game. I had to do the same to my computer (as its slow) and it will definitely improve your fps.

Oh, that may be my rage hook then :p, PLAN B. Load task manager and load GTA V and go on to the performance tab on task manager and see how you computer handles with the app by seeing the percentage of the CPU and such used. It can be its another app interfering. Also how good is your computer...
