Well, this was the most retarded coup in existence that finished in 4 hours. Only one news agency was taken over. No government officials were captured. Towards the end, there were explosions in some of the governmental buildings. And this morning they have started to arrest high military...

I am afraid this coup will fail, and it might actually be a flush out coup that is trying to stir the military with a fake coup to see who pops their head out and also once the coup fails the president will have lots of propaganda material to push his dictatorial vision for turkey stating things...

Unlikely, the current president just called for citizens to "pour to streets and airports", he is trying to create a chaos and force a civil war instead of trying political channels, if neither party backs down, there can be civil war because currently there is no intel on the % of the military...
