Absolutely Fire Service should remain a full time role, but I think opening it up to part time on-call firefighters would provide a wider roleplay opportunity and attack more people to that roleplay and possibly then encourage them to go into the NHS.

Yeah I agree with this but this can be done by only giving them access to emergency freqs when clocked in which would be controlled via the pager system. They still need to access them for interoperability purposes.

-1 encouraging people to join the NHS in order to be a full time firefighter helps to boost numbers and otherwise you would likely see a greater fall in the number of NHS members. I think there are other better solutions to allow people to be firefighters without being in the NHS.
