I understand their is no time frame as i did read the rules. Im asking what is the usual time it takes based on past experience? Obviously I dont want to ask an admin because i dont want to disturb them. I would just like to hear what others say

could be days weeks or months

So you can be banned for months without a review? even if you did nothing wrong and are falsely accused? I understand that that might be possible timmy, but what im asking the community is what it actually takes. for instance, timmy have you ever been banned? if so for how long was it?

There is no time frame.. it's pretty simple, if you been falsely accused post a video that clears your name and it's normally only a few days.

However if you can't provide video showing that you clearly didn't break a rule then it's up to the staff team but unban requests are very low on the admins thing's to do list.

Before everyone floods this poor guy with "OMG STATUS UPDATES DONT USE THEM FOR UNBANS"

I will answer this question for him:

I am one of the many hard working staff who primarily deal with Unbans from Monday through Friday during daytime hours. I do these at work on downtime and my own free time. I like everyone here am a volunteer. I work on the unbans when I can, and I go in order from oldest to newest.

However sometimes I have to wait for a response, and I will see if people are currently online awaiting a review of their appeal, I will answer those as well.

It's not a simple process of "Hey I was banned, I broke this rule, unban me please."

First and foremost I have to review the following:

-Is the unban appeal look proper, does it have all the right information?
-Was there effort put into this appeal?
-Was this a valid ban/valid report
-Is this ban appealable
-Does the person disputing have a post history of causing disruption, VAC ban history
-Previous ban history
-Review of stats page for any suspicious activity (Money Hacking/Duping)

Then come the people who PM me saying "OMG LOOK AT MY APPEAL" or the people who post a status update, or bump their appeals. So I choose to ignore the appeal, or issue the person a warning point and make them wait 7 days for the forum restriction to be removed.

Also I do not unban people on the weekends, my philosophy is no one gets to be unbanned on weekends, if you were banned for breaking the rules, you don't get to spend a weekend enjoying the game/roleplay/etc... if other staff choose to review them, that's fair and their choice, but not mine.

Then it comes down to the conversation I have with the banned player, and then I have to determine if this player should be unbanned.

So I hope that answers your question

Oh by the way in regards to Timmy, he was banned once for something bad, and he had to wait months before he was allowed to come back, but eventually he was allowed back.

Don't assume no one is perfect here, we are human and make mistakes.

Thats fine, If Timmy didnt want to answer me he doesnt have to.

Fair play to him for sticking it out and coming back after such a long time though
