mine is probably the mk2b. however I am more into the german stuff...

The mark II a has got to be one the best the bests as a classic, but agreed mk2b is where Britain finally got their act together and got some cannons. Soon realised that 7.7 was enough . Cant rmeber guys name but a spitfire test pilot who flew EVERY spitfire preferred the mk 1 and 2 because they were so light in he sky!, the griffins were fast but not very agile in comparison.

yea I know which guy you mean it Eric Brown, he is holding the world record for flown the highest amount of different planes

btw have you ever heard of Erich Hartmann, or Hans Joachim Marseille?

Hartmann, yes but i dont know much about him. Over last year i will explain in TS i got a bit out of touch with my inner ww2 nerdself, but theres alot of nerd still here

Hartmann was a german ww2 pilot which managed to shoot down 352 planes during ww2, the most shot down aircraft for a single pilot to this day

same here I got a bit out of touch as well lately, however I still like it a lot to talk about stuff with others

I like the spitfire mk2b best, but my fav British plane is the gloster meteor

Hartmann wasn't a great pilot, he was just cautious and lucky. Joel I had some Luftwaffe stuff before, but some people found it a little offense and asked me to change it. Joel WWII history is one of my favorite past times.

well what about having some chat about ww2 stuff at some point? maybe even play some ww2 based games like warthunder, world of warships, heroes and generals, company of heroes 2....?
