And there I was thinking we'd moved past the days of locking constructive threads.
It's fine saying 'play it or lose it,' but no one wants to play it if its dead all the time. It shouldn't be a chore. Management lost interest in Altis ages ago. It's lovely to see people planning to band together with or without Management to try to think of solutions, but honestly I can't see it coming back from this. The surge in numbers was due to lockdown. We have (hopefully) seen the last lockdown, which means there won't be another surge in numbers, which means the plug will be pulled sooner rather than later.
My only suggestion at this point is when the time comes to pull the plug, why not hold onto it for one month longer with one crucial difference: complete wipe. Probably won't help, but it might. If it comes to the point where the plug is being pulled, there's no harm in trying it for a month, just to see if it makes a difference. Either way everyone's going to lose years of work.
