It is emotional abuse. I was in a similar situation around 7/8 months ago. But it was never physically in the house sort of thing. Do you live with her or is she just always over?

That's a tough one mate, I don't think many of us here would be qualified to really answer that well - my only advice would be to contact a support group such as the following link, they have a helpline and will be undoubtedly better equipped to give you some real help based on their experience.

she lives with me but any time i tell her to leave she refuses to go... i have said i will ring the police but she just threatens me with that "Ill Kill myself if you do" its destroying me i just dunno what to do and thanks FriendlyFireGuy Ill give it a look i dunno how much more of this i can take :'(

@DippyCoB i would but honestly i think i just need to accept the fact that she aint gonna stop and i think i should just ring the police regardless off what she says, she has been like this for a year now and i thought she would stop after we got back together but nope, thanks though man. Its good to see the community looking out for eachother.

@Custard Cream Ringing the police is a good option - I'm sure if you explain your concerns to them they'll ensure she comes to no harm. Does she have family you can reach out to?

Either way, you need to do something mate, it's not good if it's causing you distress.

It is 100% the way. From experience, I can tell it's just words. She knows it works to keep you there so she'll carry on doing it. it's a hard decision to make but at the end of the day your mentality is at risk and if you don't try and stop it quick it can easily leave you in a worse state.
