Most people in the UK wouldn't call the local station a 'PD'. It's an Americanism that cropped up somewhere on the server a while ago, and slowly infiltrated the ranks. When I first joined the police a while ago, it wasn't an issue. It's a fairly recent thing, and I've been advocating against its use, as it is not British, since I first heard it.
There are a few other things I would like to see changed too (like aspects of the radio communication discipline) so that they are British once more. That's the major selling point of the server: we are British, have a British Police Service, a British medical team (i.e. the NHS), and everything uses the British terminologies.

And also, if you want everything to be so British, why do you have a S.W.A.T theme tune? SWAT (Special Weapons And Tactics) is a term for law enforcement units which use specialized or military equipment and tactics in the United States .

@FergussThis is not, and will never, be an American server, so why bring that up? Also "a S.W.A.T theme tune"? That's the main song used in the film SWAT, numbnuts! It has no bearing on the server at all, or am I not allowed to like different music now?
