I have no clue, but! Fuddle around with the Microphone settings. Something will eventually work.

Does it cut out on TS and in game? If so then it's not Steam. Make sure all your drivers are up to date. I remember this happened to you in Kavala.

Yes, it happened once in agios when i was in RP randomly, but recently i've noticed it's done it a lot of times when i've been restrained for a while which is weird ? 

That is strange, I don't think there's a connection, what headset were you using before? Did it use any kind of software like Razer Synapse etc..? Could be sound drivers conflicting. 

Also make sure the Hyper X Cloud II is set as the default recording device in Control Panel > Sound

I had shitty turtle beaches, and this Hyper X uses USB, however every time i turn my computer on i have to enable the headset as the default communication device every time
