Drugs 2025 Q & A

Could put a daily/weekly cap on it like you can only increase your rep so much every 24hrs, seems weird to go from a nobody to a feared roadman in a few hours

Not gonna lie, i don't agree with this i think people should choose when they wanna grind their reputation, a good middleground so shops dont get hit 24/7 would be making it so you only get rep after you collect the cash of the till imo.
Also you would be suprised but out of 100 levels i reckon the max street cred that someone has right now is maximum 5 and thats being generous

I think that there’s this miss conception of how easy it is to gain street cred especially if you mainly do civ/non crim jobs. It is decently difficult to gain street cred hence we se the increase in crime recently which has lead to increased rp and generally been more fun a limit would reduce this. It’s not like mining or smelting that you can max out in 2 days.

I'm just thinking of the poor shop owners, I spoke to one last night and by 9pm they had spent 60k in till repairs as it's around 5k per till to repair, so those with more tills it's hitting them hard, and a few asked for us to stop fixing them and just leave them broke instead

If thats the case i guess just make it so shops dont give you street cred unless you hit the safe on the back with LSdriller that should be a good middle ground

I'd agree with that as it's more RP/waiting and not speed running tills haha

This isn't a bad idea tbf, if its not changed then every till will get hit in the city everytime its possible, and there won't be any RP with it if its not called

I've addressed this ingame yesterday. We applied some changes earlier today.

I think registers getting hit for street cred is a decent feature before this update people only did store registers the day t he crim update dropped but the issue yesterday was getting street cred on smashing a till rather than throughout the period of robbing the till which can easily be tweaked.

Could you throw us a bone and give us a hint maybe? I feel like it could help with peoples understanding of the intention behind hotzones
That would be just a bonus would it not?

More and more changes have been creeping its way in, feedback is vital on greatly appreciated!

I think it would be good if you could get Ergotamine from the packages instead of LSD Oil, with the new chemistry levels it's a lot nicer to get the earlier components than the late ones for some drugs.
It'd also be nice to see more LSD/Heroin benches as the police know their current locations and seem to be almost camping them looking for any signs of people trying to make drugs which has made it very annoying and tedious to try and make those drugs. (Hope none of this is meta)

The Police are there to do their job tho😉

We are working on a few things to shake things up abit.

ngl this whole thing is so hard for people who aren't in whitelist. paying 35k to maybe find out a zone. Going to the zone and get taxxed 50k. the zone changes after 2 minutes. Repeat. Obviously maybe we're all missing something, but tis a tough one.

I'm fortunate enough to be a part of a whitelisted group, but i honestly couldn't imagine how tough it must be for people who aren't in a whitelisted group to get settled into drug-selling. Smaller groups are already getting toyed around with, having to pay majority of their profits in taxes and other expenditures.

This is the problem. If you're in the big groups, you can get the information. for us small time groups, we put in hours of graft, hitting pharmacies, paying people to spend hours making the drugs, and then we have to pay more money to 1. Find out the location and 2. To be able to sell at the location. The old system where it was based on police presence was much better. You dont see anyone out selling anymore. The only time you'll see people selling is when its a whole gang, at which point you know you're gonna be taxxed. Im sure im not the only person who has spent weeks/months grinding to build up stock for it to just be sitting in my house because i dont know where/when to sell it.

It is still based off police presence however the prices have dropped to give hotzones a reasonable advantage without causing significant inflation in the economy.
What is the reasonable advantage to hotzones? because at the minute it seems to just be giving more power to certain Groups
