Server: GTA RP
Character Name: Jake Peachey
Steam ID: 76561199061119701
Ban ID (just the numbers): 19431
Ban Reason: C1.7 Chat Ban
Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for using inappropriate language within the group chat in game. It was a unacceptable thing to have written and I fully understand why I was banned for my wordings. I don't think any reasonable community would of allowed it to of been said let a lone RPUK. It's not something I've said before, but regardless, I did on that occasion and it was wrong of me to do so. I would like to add that, although what I said was most certainly improper, I most definitely did not have any hateful intentions behind it. I do however, fully understand and accept that it was still inappropriate regardless and being banned for it is clearly justifiable. I am sincere in my apology and I'm hoping that comes across in this appeal.
Why should we unban you: I think I should be unbanned due to having provided people with great laughs and roleplay in the time I have spent on the server. I've always played the game with the mindset of making other peoples time in the server enjoyable. I have never said or written anything distasteful previously and I can ensure you that I won't ever say or write anything similar again if allowed to re-join the community. I've missed being part of the server, it's something I taken joy in being part of over the years and would love to get back to playing the game with friends old and new.

I'd like to add that I also apologise for my initial appeal, it was poor and I should of provided more effort.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Please confirm that you have read the unban appeal process and rules: Yes

If you're fully aware that its inappropriate language, why did you deem it acceptable at that time?

At the time, it was the equivalent of speaking without thinking, however, in this moment I typed before thinking. I fully understand what's right and wrong, and what I wrote certainly falls into the first category. I hastily wrote what I wrote without thinking, I haven't done it before and certainly wouldn't do it again.

It was unacceptable of me and I apologise. I wrote without thinking and received the appropriate repercussions.

So realistically, if you're in the habit of acting before thinking. How can we trust you to return without this happening again?

I'm not in the habit of doing it, it was a one off moment of idiocy on my behalf. I have been in the server for a considerable time with no history of that behavior, I don't think I'd even be welcomed to make this appeal if it was. I apologize if that comes across directly, I just don't want you to be under the impression this is a regular occurrence for me in or out of the server. I'm very apologetic for my comment leading me here and having to take up your time.

It's not something I've ever written or said before and I have no excuse for it. There was nothing different that day or in that situation that could have justified it. I type regularly in our group chat, and it was a one off moment of foolishness

What do you think would be a reasonable response from the staff team, were you to be found repeating this behaviour?

A harsh response from staff of a Perma-ban and no ability to appeal , or to have a considerably extended cool-down on appeal timing would be appropriate. Repeating the same rule breaks should have stern repercussions as its a clear indicator that its not a 'one off' or a 'mistake' at that point.

Well, with your own perspective being taken into account. I will offer you an unban today, but with the condition of, if you are ever banned again for discrimination, the ban will be unappealable.

Do you agree with the above terms?

If banned for discrimination again, it is a closed door policy. Unappealable
