Why do you think you were banned: I was banned due to breaking the rule C2.3 which is combat logging.
Why should we unban you: Hello, I would like to start by saying that I had previously asked why was banned and when I combat logged, I've come away and racked my brain and spoke to a few members of the RPUK community that I was playing alongside and now realise why and when I was banned, I believe the situation was regarding a police chase I was part of in which I had shook the initial police officers then proceeded to crash my car and die, this is when I logged off, I'm not here to make excuses for my actions or defend them in any way, after the incident I remember the regret that I held and for good reason, I had in turn denied people the same right I've been given to RP well and with quality, reflecting back on the incident I should have just stayed there until I was found by a member of the Police/Public and roleplayed it accordingly and took the punishment I was going to be handed, it was very late at night and I took the easy way out and that was cheap and stupid from me, I take full responsibility for my actions and can only apologise again.



I would also like to add that obviously this won't happen again as now I realise the impact it can have on people's playing experience, and how it completely goes against everything the Server and people who play it are about.



I think that this was a huge lesson for myself and all I can say is Lesson Learnt, I feel as if I can provide high quality roleplay and have proven this time and again, this lapse in judgement was a major mistake and one that won't be repeated for sure, I completely understand why I've been handed the punishment I have and have waited the 1 month cooldown for this appeal whilst taking time to carefully read the rules and think about my future plans for the server if I was going to be unbanned, I have big plans! But mainly to provide the highest quality RP possible and to follow the rules to a tee, and having lots of fun in the process.



This is my first RP experience on GTA and I fell in love with it instantly, it's so fun to talk to strangers and make them into friends, associates and even enemies, the way the server works is great and the staff have been brilliant in my experience, I don't want this 1 mistake to stop me having that forever, this is my first ban ever from any game/server really but I'm hoping it doesn't stick, I really hope you can give me another chance to prove myself, I won't let you down.

Are you sure this is the reason that lead up to your ban? Or are you admitting to another instance in which you broke the C2.3 rule?

In your previous appeal you also noted that you were banned under G1.2 (RDM) - How come you've left it out on this appeal?

I'd also like to bring up your OOC chat less than an hour prior to you breaking the C2.3 rule - in which you say 'nice rdm' and 'nice rp'. Care to elaborate on those?

You've been a part of this community for a while, and I would have thought you'd have known better. So please, explain to me what the rule C2.3 is in your own words, and why we have it in place, as well as the impact it can have should it be broken.

Hello Violet,

The incident I've admitted is the only time to my knowledge where I may have broken rule C2.3, as I said previously this is such a stupid thing to do, I can't apologise enough and I now understand why this rule is so important as it can impede RP so much and ruin people's experience.

I didn't mention the RDM rule break as I thought that was solved as I went into the discord channel and spoke to the victim in the situation and as apart of the community for a long time he allowed me to understand what I'd done wrong and how I could of gone about the situation differently/ handled it better, he placed the report about me, which is completely justified, and in reply the staff member said that my punishment would be a 1 day ban if I had not broken rule C2.3. So I apologise for not mentioning this before as I was under the impression it was resolved.

In regards to my OOC chat this was a genuine mistake I must've thought I was putting it in LOOC which may also be the wrong thing to do, in future if I feel as if I'm a victim of a rule break I will put a ticket forward. I can't recall the situation in which this pertains to exactly.

Your absolutely right in the fact I should of known better, a complete lapse in judgement on my part and it won't happen again, it was such a stupid thing to do, at the time I was having some personal issues to deal with and it all got a bit too much, it's sorted now thank God this is not an excuse at all just giving some insight.

The rule C2.3 (Combat Logging) is the act in where your in the middle of an RP situation and you leave without reason to give yourself an upper hand or an advantage and or to get out of a situation, this rule is in place to protect people from having an advantage from leaving a situation where they are at a disadvantage and then gaining the upper hand because they combat logged, it then completely eliminates the whole point of the server and the RP as combat logging is not realistic and its extremely unfair, if this rule is broken it can impact everyone's fun and immersion into the situation and completely disregards all RP, players can be effected by this and think it's okay to do, which it isn't, and this is why the rule is so important to have in the first place. Again I apologise for me breaking this rule as I see how idiotic it is and reckless, it will not ever happen again.

Hello, I'm really sorry it's been a while and my memory of said incident(s) has become hazy, it being Christmas and New Year, I appreciate the fact you have replied given the time of year.

Now, I completely understand the whole trust aspect of this situation, given I've clearly done this twice, trust is a fickle thing, hard to gain and very easy to lose, all I can offer is my word which doesn't mean alot given you don't know me from Adam, but a chance wouldn't hurt as this is my first Ban across the whole of FiveM, the going on 2 months I've had away has allowed me to refine my understanding of the rules and understand the consequences of my actions, safe to say I have learned, all I can offer is 1 last chance and if said chance is blown (it won't be) then the door to RPUK should be closed to me forever.

My plans for this server are as follows; I would love to integrate myself into the police force, I was unsure before my time away from the server but this time has allowed me to realise that I need direction! So if I was to be given another chance then I'd put in my police application and if accepted, work hard to climb the ranks and to stop the criminality that is happening in the city, I would also like to explore more of the criminal side of RP and see if there are any groups looking for new and eager members, in a nutshell I'm just trying to provide the highest quality RP I possibly can, as that is what makes RPUK so good! Interaction is key in my opinion and I want to be able to provide and be provided the fun and uniqueness of RP scenarios like I have many times before on the server, I will go with the flow in any situation and won't be blinded by stupidity and be rash as I was before.
