    @Aethon he was not here to play the servers or contribute to the community he was just here to make silly and rude comments, there is a whole handful of comments that have been hidden from this person some follow the anti staff team theme he was going for.

    I don't see the value of keeping people like that around, a complete waste of time to our staff team, might as well not be here! Was previously warned for this via a warning point in march but continued.

    @Butch no its not the same situation.... people will just be spamming the jump button without thinking as there running around doing there usual thing which isn't there fault as they are used to doing it in other games where the engine can handle it, kind of like.... switching guns over and over in CSGO or Rust for example.

    In Arma 3 every jump is a network call to the server which then sends out traffic to the other 100 odd players to show that you have jumped so it shows on there screen that you have jumped even if you are over the other side of the map...think if 100 players are all spamming jump ? 1 jump = 100 network requests 10 players pressing 1 jump = 1000 network traffic requests so on and so forth

    Its a player action that causes unnecessary network traffic, Its a little like the placeable objects... 1 object put down spammed to 130 players at the time that it was there... and they reported back it was still in the same place, When the police came along and put 30 cones down in kavala well arma3server.exe backed up a network queue so long it just crashed

    Trust me we would love jumping, we would also love place able objects but we are fully aware of limitations

    Only reason i stated the no difference part is because it is done on other servers and lag is not a problem, different server different problems i guess

    @Butch completely different in so many ways (not just code) if jumping is a priority for you then go there or head to an engine that can support it like GTARP.

    I am pretty sure someone with @Jaffa's capability can infact code a jumping script that is more cleaner with network traffic to maybe people in a certain radius only but i am pretty sure he wouldn't want to waste so much time with so many other good suggestions in community corner.

    I must move on, spent too much time discussing jumping at a time of a global pandemic!
